Notification about Sand Control Cooperation Project between The Association and Italian Environment Ministry

　　Following the investigation in ALXA area in June by investigation group consisting of YANG Peng (Expert of the Association), NIE Xiaohua (Representative of Beijing Capital Group), officials from Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau and Italian experts, another investigation about the project cooperation condition was made by investigation group consisting of HAO Bing (Vice Secretary General of the Association), NIE Xiaohua (Representative of Beijing Capital Group), and Italian experts in mid September.

　　A brief meeting was held on November 14 in Beijing, with participants from Italian Environment Ministry, Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau and Beijing Capital Group. On the meeting, Chinese party and Italian party preliminarily agreed to initiate the following five pilot works:

　　1. Introduction of Vallerani System

　　2. Wind Power Pumping

　　3. Construction of High-grade Haloxylon Seedling Nursery

　　4. Aerial Seeding

　　5. Energy Substitute

　　Currently, the Association is implementing the financing. And in December, experts from both parties will have further negotiation in Beijing about technical issues for implementation of the project.
