Ma WeiHua, the First Chairman of Supervisory Committee
In the morning of June 5, nearly one hundred Chinese entrepreneurs held the second session of the first SEE Council meeting in Alxa Moon Lake Round Meeting Room to elect SEE Executive Council members and Supervisory Committee members. Mr Ma Weihua was elected as the first Chairman of SEE Supervisory Committee, The following are Mr. Ma’s acknowledgments:
Ma Weihua: I didn’t know that I could be elected Chairman of SEE Supervisory Committee until today, so I didn’t make preparations for this speech.
First of all, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the 102 entrepreneurs for their love for ecological environment and this great project. Thanks also go to everybody here for your trust in me. I am shocked this time at Alxa, and what makes me shocked is not the desert, for there are deserts everywhere in the world, but the photos of Hasibagen who is a photographer living here for more than 20 years. There are a lot of photos taken by him in the corridor, some of which were taken 20 years ago. It used to be a very beautiful oasis here, with pasture and water, cattle and sheep. But 20 years passed by, and it turned into a look like this. Mr. Song Jun made the withered wood stand there, and called it "penitent forest". This is the shock on me by nature.
It is our utmost honor to establish such an association and join in such a lofty cause, and I am very glad to be elected Chairman of Supervisory Committee through democratic election. I would like to thank Mr. Liu Xiaoguang, the charter member and advocator of our undertaking, who has actually initiated such a lofty cause that expresses Chinese entrepreneurs’ heartfelt wishes.
In my opinion, there are three aims of our rules: The first is the lofty goal to control sandstorms; the second is a transparent sack, namely, fund management; the third is a good reputation we should make every effort to maintain, for it is the most precious. As a Chairman of Supervisory Committee, I hereby promise, on behalf of all Supervisory Committee members, that we will carry out supervision on the Executive Council headed by Liu Xiaoguang. Off course, I firmly believe that it is unlikely for us to impeach Liu Xiaoguang, for he is a reliable entrepreneur. I come from bank, and Mr. Lu from Taiwan is also a banker, so are good friends. We will spare no efforts to supervise in earnest on behalf of our charter members and prospective members every little bit of growth of our funds to ensure such funds will 100% contribute to our cause.
In addition, our banking system will serve our association wholeheartedly. For example, we can put our publicity materials at our sites, to let everybody participate in our cause.
