In the evening of April 27, SEE Preparation Group Director Liu Xiaoguang, together with Deputy Directors Song Jun and Yang Ping, met with Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region President Yang Jing in Shenzhen, who highly appreciated and strongly supported SEE preparations presented at their meeting.
Yang Jing was very excited after listening to the report made by the general manager Liu Xiaoguang about the initiation, development plan and progress of SEE ecological association, and said "We support this cause, appreciate it, and express gratitude to it. The key to this lies in that it concerns the basic benefits of people and the fundamental interests of our country and the Chinese nation." President Yang Jing introduced some basic situations about deserts and ecological environment in Inner Mongolia. Worried about sandstorms and the unceasing rise of iceberg snow line of Qilian Mountain, President Yang Jing warned that if no actions were taken, there would be no hope of the human society.
As to the request of SEE, President Yang Jing immediately promised:
to attend the meeting on June 5, together with Executive Vice President Yue Fuhong, and Vice President Yu DeHui.
to instruct Vice President Yu DeHui to fulfill the task of coordinating the relationship with Alxa League and make preparations for communication, transportation, electricity supply, and etc for Establishment Meeting on June 5.
that financial office of the Autonomous Region would be appointed business responsible institution of the future foundation.
that Foreign Affairs Office of Inner Mongolia should participate in the entertainment of foreign ambassadors on June 5.
General Manager Liu Xiaoguang expressed thanks to President Yang Jing for his support, and hoped that he could introduce the situation of the sandstorms at the Meeting. Liu Xiaoguang decided to arrange a dialogue between the government and entrepreneurs during the Meeting.
